The Bottom Bracket Wrench removes and installs Shimano Hollowtech II, Race Face X-type, FSA MegaExo, Campagnolo Ultra-Torque and TruVativ Giga X-pipe bottom brackets. The CC-4 is a drop-in style gauge that measures bicycle chain wear. The laser cut CC-4 accurately measures a long section of chain and strategically comes in contact with the chain in three places, quickly and easily taking the guesswork out of knowing when chain replacement is necessary. A worn chain will cause poor shifting as well as accelerate drivetrain wear. Many chains use a master link that allows the chain to be installed and removed by hand. While master links don't require traditional chain tools, over time, dirt and corrosion can make it difficult to separate them by hand. After pressing the special connecting rivet into a Campagnolo 11-Speed Chain and breaking off the pilot, Campagnolo requires the end of the connecting rivet to be "peened" or "deformed" to prevent chain failure. The precision-machined CT-11 is used to accurately perform this critical process. Note: The CT-11 will not install or remove chain rivets. Its sole function is to peen and secure the end of the Campagnolo 11-speed connecting rivet.
